ABOUT LISA

I’m Lisa Sparagna and I’m passionate about sharing meditation, mindfulness and yoga practices with as many people as possible. My goal is to create a safe space where people connect to their own inner wisdom.

Yoga and Meditation helped me through a life-changing experience, and I’m dedicated to sharing these practices to help others.

My formal yoga and meditation journey began in 2005 when I received my 200 hour certification at the White Lotus Foundation in California. In 2007, I earned the Advanced 500 hour Yoga Certification Training from Prairie Yoga. Since then, I’ve designed and offered a variety of programs, workshops, women’s circles and retreats. My other formal studies include the completion of the eight-week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program, The Calm Monkey Meditation Facilitator Certification Program, the Sedona Women's Institute Facilitator Training Program, and most recently, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Two Year Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Program, MMTCP (2021).

In addition to yoga and meditation training, I hold an MFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

These practices guide my life: Mindfulness keeps me present, Meditation returns me to quiet and stillness, and Yoga provides a flexible way to be in my life and our world. Sharing these tools with others provides great joy. I look forward to sharing them with you.

Lisa brings her mindfulness practice to our corporate team with meditation teachings, which helps us bring clarity and awareness to our work. She also works with our players, middle school and high school-aged girls, to teach them skills to mentally prepare for competition and navigate their worlds. Lisa teaches with joyful ease and we love working with her!
